Unity Production Architecture

Are you:

  • Struggling to scale your Unity projects beyond simple prototypes?
  • Tired of constantly reinventing the wheel and piecing together solutions from scattered resources?
  • Trying to figure out a proper way of managing your Unity project’s growing scope, but can’t find resources?

Despite the straightforward nature of these principles, it can be challenging to learn them without working in a production environment. My goal is to make this knowledge accessible to anyone who wants to build scalable Unity projects, regardless of their experience level.

About Me
My name is Mody, and I’m a Unity Tech Lead from Toronto, Canada. My experience ranges from supporting XR researchers at Facebook Reality Labs, to being the Senior Developer on the indie hit Laya’s Horizon, where I proactively helped with building the architecture to support an open-world game on mobile, developed workflow accelerating editor tools, and contributed to many major features. I’m currently serving as a Tech Lead for the VR team at LogicalDox.

While you wait

Game Programming Patterns is a great book to read if you’d like to learn about design patterns, given that this is not a design patterns book in particular.

It’s available on the web for free, and certainly served as an inspiration for the format through which this book is delivered.

💡Note
The book is still under construction, but a portion of it is complete and can be viewed right now. Consider signing up for the newsletter to know when the chapters are updated. In the meanwhile, I can be reached through Twitter or Email
